1960's Harmony Bobkat Bobcat H15V

I picked this guitar up in late 2008 and it has a market value of $228.50. It's a mid 1960's Harmony Bobkat (Bobcat) electric with two DeArmond goldfoil pickups. The bridge P/U is weak but the neck P/U is very strong! The finish is completely removed, sanded smooth and is ready to be repainted or sealed to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The neck is straight with low action and a rosewood fretboard. As far as I can tell, this guitar is all original and complete. This guitar is in very good condition and only minor corrosion on the metal parts.


Harmony BobKat's were produced starting in 1966. There were many versions of the Bobkat including the H14 (single pickup sunburst) , H15 (double pickup sunburst), H15V (double pickup sunburst with vibrato), and H17(double pickup with red sunburst and vibrato) among other models.

This one has the finish completely removed, sanded smooth and is ready to be repainted or sealed to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.

1960's Kent Archtop with Goldfoil pickup

I picked this guitar up in late 2008 and it has a market value of $160.50. It's an early 1960's Kent Hollowbody electric with single Teisco goldfoil pickup. Tobacco sunburst finish on body and neck with some crazing. Adjustable bridge and the neck is straight. There is fret and fretboard wear that has been touched up and one bent tuner (see pictures for items). As far as I can tell, this guitar is all original and complete. This guitar is in very good condition and only minor corrosion on the metal parts.

Kent was the brand name used by Buegeleisen & Jacobson (B&J), once a major music distributor in New York City. B&J was one of the early companies to begin importing musical goods from Japan in 1960, starting with microphones and aftermarket pickups, and adding guitars in 1962. Earlier Kents were made by Guyatone, but it's unknown who created this beauty.
